Interesting. Not to mention the fact that any contractors- whether mercenary, translator, etc, are paid upwards of 100k a year (mercenaries-- every three months or so), they can quit at any time-- and receive bonuses for hazard pay... Meanwhile, regular soliders not only have to stay (form of indenture?) or go to jail, they get paid diddly, are poorly prepared for their own safety as well as how to properly deal with the area and peoples they confront,
ok, that's just ad nauseum...
