Even though I heard rumors that peopleFreepers were forgetting to vote FOR the recall in their haste to vote for Arnold, I am assuming Arnold's ascension to the post of Governor.
Remember what promises he made. Hold him to them.
Remember what he promised to do "with a stroke of [his] pen." Make him try, remember his failures, note the lack of understanding of the powers of the office.
And do you want to know what the evilest thing the Democratic Party could do is?
DON'T PRESS FOR A RECALL. PASS THE BUDGET HE PRESENTS.
The next recall would actually be a populist movement.

I'm 23 years old and I've heard that shit in 4 presidential elections and numerous others. Any "promise" made by someone who has never held an office with the type of power they'd be getting, don't believe anything they say.
That, Glenn, is the point.
He now has to come up with an actual budget, actual plans. And he's fired the one guy around him that was willing to tell the truth about what must be done--Warren Buffet.
Frankly, he has no good options. He raises taxes, which he promised not to do…or he cuts essential services, which he promised not to do.
I have friends out in Cali, I don't like the way this went. And it's looking more and more like "Parable of the Sower" is the model for the future.
