With those words, two skinheads punched a Black man to the pavement in a grocery store parking lot, then pummeled and kicked him some more, solely because of his race, Phoenix police say.
"The only good people in this world are White purebred people," Nathan Greeson told police when he was arrested after the June attack on Leroy Willis. "We do things to keep this world pure and poison free."
Both attackers pleaded guilty.
White supremacists are increasingly moving into Arizona, particularly from the Pacific Northwest, and with them has come a rise in activities, from meetings to beatings to murders. Police and those who monitor hate groups warn if something isn't done now, the problem will surge out of control.
Yeah, there are some real hardcore white supremacist types out in the Pacific Northwest, especially in eastern Washington and Oregon and in Idaho, which are rural areas. Politically, Washington and Oregon are a bit schizophrenic with some very conservative rural areas and some very progressive urban areas.
Well, I'm sure it isn't just Black people they are targeting down there. I've got more relatives than I can count in Arizona, and we could use all the help we can get. It's already to the point where brown people can't go camping in southern Arizona without getting dragged out of their tents at gunpoint by white supremacist border vigilantes. Don't flee -- organize!
And don't blame the Pacific Northwest for this shit. These nutcases move around the country from place to place until they get kicked out. Even in Idaho there is a grassroots movement to get rid of them.
If they really wanted to keep the world pure and poison free, they'd suicide.
I really would like to give them their own state, surrounded by an electrified razor wire fence with a single gate.
I wasn't blaming the Pacific Northwest, just confirming for those who aren't familiar with the area that we do in fact have some major white supremacist groups out here. David Neiwert, who lives in my area, has written at some length about these groups.
We tried giving them thier own state, P6. They went and invaded Poland and had to be put down.
I've been in the city too long. I just can't wrap my head around these groups. I'm too busy hating hippies to try to sort people out by race. Hippies come in all colors.
