We got exposing a CIA operative and a cover-up. That's what is being investigated.

Did you see Bill Maher's piece on how all of the talking heads at FOX have started spouting the same line - "the criminalization of politics..."

It's pretty funny. that kristol guy is on there, trying his damnedest to look objective and righteously indignant. it might work except there are about ten other folks using the same term and taking the same pregnant pause before saying it - as if it occurred to each one of them independently. what a joke.

What is required now if we truly had an independent press is that most of them give no credence to this bit of specious sophistry. If we can have the criminalization of consenting sexual relations between adults then we can have the criminalization of politics. It is against the law to reveal the names of covert CIA agents. If the Bush team had a beef with Joseph Wilson then they should have duked it out in John Wayne fashion with Wilson, not his wife.

I love it! These boys have been kicking ass and taking names for years now and the chattering classes and the media have been celebrating their triumphs no matter how much dirt they heaped on some poor soul. Now it looks as if they are beginning to understand that it doesn't really hurt unless the game is poker and they are whining and trying to wiggle their butts out of the cracks. I love it!
