If I were a lower-class or middle-class White, who had been born with below-average intelligence and who had a poor academic work ethic and who had little to no good moral education, then I might agree with the caller. All other White Americans should be too ashamed to hold his views, let alone share them publicly. They should be ashamed because if they are still worried about their future economic opportunities and the economic opportunities of their progeny, despite the myriad of unearned economic, political, and cultural advantages their forebears had during the past few centuries, their families are American failures.

Any 21st Century middle-class or upper-class White of average or above-average intelligence who still seeks more advantages than he or she inherited and has benefited from all his or her life in order to outperform equally talented U.S. minorities whose forebears suffered centuries of slavery and political, economic, social, and cultural injustice or in order to outperform first generation immigrants must be a pitiful excuse for a White American (Ralph Emerson and Theodore Roosevelt would be deeply disappointed with these types of underperforming White Americans seeking what I believe is a "social handout" or a form of "welfare" for our privileged yet least meritorious White Americans in the early 21st Century). If I had been born a middle-class or upper-class White person and my family had provided me with a decent education and upbringing, I suspect I'd be doing my best to help long-oppressed minorities and recently naturalized citizens (and probably even illegal immigrants) gain access to the resources they would need in order to cultivate and demonstrate their true intellectual and economic merits, if for no other reason than to insure that I could compete against the best and the brightest rather than live my life benefiting from unearned advantages and rigged social competitions that favored  Euro-American culture and Euro-American phenotypical traits.

White republicans who think they way the caller thinks and fear what the caller appears to fear are probably among our pettiest and mediocre or below average White citizens. They and their children probably need only to stop being so lazy in their studies in order to free themselves from having to worry about those who would start off the U.S. social competition for wealth, power, and prestige with far fewer unearned advantages than they did.

I don't think I'd last more than one day doing this man's job. By day two I'd be pleading--right there on TV--for somebody with even an atom of intelligence to call.

and challenge one another about who had the stupidest caller that week. They probably have a drinking game about it.

  I feel that we as Black folk are good people , we are generally indifferent towards other races of people. There has to be a time when we must stop being champions for evryone but ourselves. Illegal immirgration or legal seemeed to never be a prolem until just like drugs it started to touch the white middle class. The CBC have been in support of immirgrationand its other issues.  But strange thing I travel a lot and I dont see any Black Men doing road construction, masonary jobs, that were the trades of many of our Fathers. We cant throgh out the Baby with the bath water. I may be wrong but I dont here the hispanic groups blowing a horn for other minoritys. I am from South Florida go and try to get a blue collar job without speaking Spanish. I just thing we as Black Folks Family need to be very careful, a lot of us our being dis-placed.
