There seems to be a kumbaya moment occurring on the conservative front, and it’s one that would apply a salve to Senator John McCain’s uneven, unsettled relationship with the religious right.
Enter James Dobson, who has at times been blistering in his criticisms of Mr. McCain. The religious right’s more favored candidates — from former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee to even former Tennessee Senator Fred Thompson — are no longer options.
Thus, The Associated Press is reporting, in a preview of Mr. Dobson’s radio show tomorrow, that he is amending his views to be more embracing of the presumptive Republican nominee. The A.P. reports:
“I never thought I would hear myself saying this,” Dobson said in a radio broadcast to be broadcast Monday. “… While I am not endorsing Senator John McCain, the possibility is there that I might.”
To continue … “Barack Obama contradicts and threatens everything I believe about the institution of the family and what is best for the nation. His radical positions on life, marriage and national security force me to reevaluate the candidacy of our only other choice, John McCain.”
In other words, the lesser of so many evils.

Let's get this straight, P6...BARACK OBAMA contradicts
and threatens everything he believes about the institution of the family..
Barack Obama, the man in a loving, 16 year marriage to his FIRST wife....
But, Senator Straight Talk, who threw away the woman that nursed him back to health after being a POW, dumping her for a hot young thing.....THIS is Dobson's example of the institution of the family.
Uh huh.
