I guess I'm rich. Everyone I know has the little things that they need, so I am concentrating on a few high-end ($75-200) gifts.Of course, the operative phrase in the article is "may not be as good". There doesn't seem to be any doubt that the season is going to be good for retailers, just not everything that they want."Whaaah! I got everything I wanted for Christmas from Santa but the pony! I didn't get a pony! Whaaah!"

You don't expect people to be satisfied with the idea of "enough," do you?

Not as long as we stick with capitalism. "People being satisfied" sounds like communism. Hippies are satisfied, and I hate hippies. (Well, they used to be. Now they are into more coffee than pot, and they have too much energy.)
