The formatting below is interesting, isn't it?

After suffering the humiliation of unreleasing a release candidate, I finally got a nice new feature of MTClient almost working. Copy from web browser, paste with HTML intact.

The new formatting is cool :-)

That's the NY Times' formatting jammed crossways into mine. I think the initial capital graphic is pretty cool.

Mainly though, I think I'll be using the HTML pasting when quoting blogs. For quoting commericial sites I'll be pasting as plain text and redoing some mark-up. Looking at the HTML and proprietary tags these large commercial systems toss into a page has been interesting.

"Interesting" is a polite way of putting it, lol. Even when copying and pasting as plain text (like with the bookmarklet), I almost always have to clean things up. Sometimes an entire huge sidebar ends up between the headline and the start of the article. And there's plenty other formatting to make you cry.
