Well, isn't this...just what I expected?

Now that some of our lefties have once again decided someone had to be outted exposed as something venal [P6: edited for clarity] for hurting some wingnuts' feelings. the LGF crew has decided they've stumbled into a viable technique. Next target: Nathan Newman.

Off topic there is a monstrously great urban poet feature on PBS this moment, a puerto rican/cuban poet.

By the way, prom please post on kos and show your support! He had some great pics meeting Mr.Sharpton at the Dem rally!

Vocal and visible support of kos can end the hate. Strength in truth. He speaks truth as he knows it, from his life experiences.

And yes they think they can do this often, guess what we'll match them more libs blog and we will turn the table.

Regarding language: "Outted"? The only context I have seen that verb is when someone reveals someone else who seems heterosexual is in fact not. Do you mean, "exiled"?

I'm old. The term used to have a more general usage.

MM:

Koz has my support, but it's more visible here than buried in his comments.

Having been a contractor myself, I find Kos's view on contractors not very nuanced.

Usually the state hires contractors because it needs services for a short time, and paying the contractor will be a lot cheaper than having civil servants with job security and specialist skills on stand by until their services are required.

The contractor in Iraq may get a lot more pay than a regular army guy. But the army guy will also be paid when there isn't a war on, unlike the contractor.
