A pretty amazing display of CSS virtuosity

While doing my lightweight CMS research I sometimes get sidetracked by a fascinating link. Such a distraction is the css Zen Garden. It's the ultimate site skinning exercise: You get an HTML file—the same one used to create the home page— that you can't touch other than to link your CSS style sheet. Basically every major section has an ID so you can place things very precisely, pretty much anywhere you'd like. And some of the results are pretty amazing.

Hey, I came across this page today: http://h2oproject.law.harvard.edu/rotisserie

It seemed like an interesting way to run community forums. I know you were thinking of trying to put together some sort of community site. It has some interesting ideas on how to create more productive discourse on the web.

Just thought I'd pass it on.

Thanks, I'll check it out. It looks like the community site is still far enough away that I can work with suggestions.

I only had to read the intro to get the idea.

It's interesting, and with comment moderation, really easy to implement manually. It's kinda formal…
