$10,000 per month

CBS News just played a bit of an interview with a guy who was a contractor…truck driver, actually…in Iraq for Halliburton.

He was paid $10,000 per month, tax free.

How much are the regular army and reservists getting per month?

Yep. A friend of mine went over there as a private contractor. He'll be making more than a year's salary in his three month stay.
Meanwhile, another solider friend had to borrow money for her plane ticket home after the Army released her.
