…He alluded to Edwards' sunny demeanor as he criticized his and Kerry's emphasis on difficulties facing workers such as rising health-care costs and the outsourcing of jobs overseas.

"Whether the message is delivered with a frown or a smile, it's the same old pessimism," Bush said.



Words of wisdom. One's facial expression doesn't change the truth or meaning of one's message. Remember this when you see Bush's "trademark smirk" as he tells you how much better you're doing, that there's weapons of mass destruction to be found, that "the buck stops here."

Oh, right. He never made that last claim. Sorry.
