No I haven't been goofing off

Take a look at how the Identity Blogging thread looks all nicely bound in an online book.

After that, check out the printer-friendly version, which comes automagically with the book formatting, and you'll get an idea of why I'm basing future versions of the site on Drupal. And that's not the limits of its use. The books are tree-structured, so (for instance) if I got permission from all the authors of the linked posts to import them I could hang them off my commentary posts. Makes for REALLY coherent reading.

BRUH! Thank you SO MUCH for making that printer-friendly version. My wife read and think it's one the greatest essays she's read (not to mention my little blurbs). You got a PayPal link, man? Gotta slide a lil' sumthin' sumthin' your way for that work.

No PayPal link yet. There'll likely be one, or ads or something on the new site.

The printer-friendly thing is just the beginning. Emailing URLs is just a matter of copying a file into a directory and it's activated.

Registering for the site will give some operational advantage, like choosing between threaded and flat comments but I'm still allowing anonymous comments, it's just that anonymous folks will have to preview comments before submitting them. Keeps the spambots at bay and still lets folks just dash off a comment if they like.

I'm working with a variant of Drupal, I think that comment stuff is particular to this fork.
