on Random rant

Live blogging a debate is one thing, live blogging a whole day is another. I had no intention of commenting on the returns as they came in. But I wanted to watch…I guess I'm just kinky like that.

I'm having a weird reaction to the current state of affairs. The phrase "oddly at peace" comes to mind…"oddly" because I should not be at peace. And I just had the reason clarified in my mind by a conversation with my brother. It's because something I "knew" has crystallized into almost physical fact: for those who seek power, humans aren't peers they are the field on which the game is played.

This should, I guess, complete my conversion to Black Conservative, but it doesn't. I can't unsee the things I've seen and the USofA can't undo the things its done. I can, however, prepare for a rather wrenching transformation. I suggest you do the same.

No surrender! I am conceding NOTHING. I do not accept that Bush will EVER win this election, even after the last Ohio vote is examined and litigated. I REJECT another Bush term, and DO NOT ACCEPT HIM AS MY PRESIDENT. I believe the election was STOLEN, just as it was in 2000; I am FIRMLY CONVINCED by the computer geeks that it was an easy task to flip votes in electronic voting machines in a way that is untraceable and undectectable. I believe people's votes were changed, and, because there is no paper trail to audit, we can never prove it legally. I believe George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, and the leaders of the RNC are FACISTS.
If any good can come from Bush's "re-election," it is an opportunity for IMPEACHMENT and to watch his administration face an international tribunal for the WAR CRIMES committed in this country's name.

Finally, the media sat on its hands for the last four years, allowing itself (and us, in the process) to be lied to and spoon fed a daily diet of BULLSHIT, without ever bothering to ask a logical and obvious question. Obviously, even worse, were those FAUX NEWS shows who deliberately permitted propaganda and proveable lies to pass as "news," with the willing approval of the FCC.

SHAME on any American who accepts this BULLSHIT "RE-ELECTION," and who remains silent in the face of this latest incarnation of facism. If I could afford it, I would be in D.C. on Inauguration Day with protest signs and cartons of rotten eggs, waiting for Das Leader to take his triumphal march, goose-stepping down Pennsylvania Ave. with his sycophantic followers.

And if John Kerry dares to say his accepts this defeat and will support the "President" to unite the country, I'm writing him off, too.

Can you tell I'm pissed? I don't expect to get over it any time in the next four years....

I agree, actually. I accept George Bush as leader of Red America. They have obviously chosen him and his ilk. The ignorance is astounding to me.

But George Bush and the Republicans do not speak to me or for me. And I'm having deep problems respecting a bunch of people who vote for open manipulators and liars in the name of their values.

Ditto to everything you just said.
