How you like me now?

I've done a lot here at at The Niggerati Network recently.

The change in styling here coincides with the update of the site to Drupal 4.6. Now both sites are running under the same codebase. There have been a lot of changes under the hood as well. Here, the big change is the WYSIWYG editing, and the privatemsg function has been replaced by a contact page that emails your message.

The editor uses the TinyMCE editor widget. It uses hot  keys, by the way...control-i toggles italic, control-b toggles bold. You got the indent button for your block quotes, the anchor and image dialogs work, and the button with the little broom cleans up stupid HTML. Lovely. I have no idea how to customize it yet...when I figure it out, you'll have smileyfaces.

More creative stuff is coming for the N-Net. But I think I'll take a language break for a couple of days.

Nice changes! A couple of suggestions: - I cannot use the 'Email Me' button (access denied). - The top banner cuts off about 80% to the right in Firefox. - Does the calendar feature work?

You can use the "Email me" link now...I missed setting the permissions on that. Seems I need to put the old email form back up there though, because it's a link to my user profile. I don't want unregistered users to be able to see member profiles but I DO want them to be able to contact me.

Also reminds me--you have to go into your user profile to enable the contact page.  I better write that up where folks can see it.

I'm using Firefox and I don't have the banner problem. Are you using a Mac maybe?

The calendar was a slip-up too. It's installed for the sake of the Niggerati Network.

Does the banner work now?

And would you use the calendar? How? (I'm looking for ideas)

The shortened banner is fixed on the home page (no mac, just XP).  But when you go to make comments, the page is stretched and the banner doesn't grow when the bookmarks feature is displayed.

I cannot think of any use for a calendar but the software tester in me started clicking on buttons with wild ambandon!

Could you send me a screen print of what you're talking about?
