The weather sucks here, too. It's been hovering at about 50 all day. I feel like I'm about to freeze to death whenever I go out -- I'm only wearing a sweater. It was torture to walk the 100 yards down the street to my Friday enchilada lunch.

i sent my first weather-gloating email of the year to my mom in MD and my friends in NJ, reminding them how it's sunny and about 73 here in the Valley of the Sun right now.and yes, Moms will get me back for that :)it's funny not being able to drive my 1965 Mustang Fastback much in the summer because it's too hot, while being able to drive it in winter when the weather's just perfect for a long desert drive. that horse definitely did not like being driven in NJ in winter.

I'm just teasing. If you ever got froggy and decided that you were going to come, I would email you a wav of me giving a rebel yell. The hair on the back of your neck would stand up and you would stay right where you are.I will note that the black people I know here complain a lot more about the cold than white people do, and most of them swear up and down they would never go back to NY/Atlanta/Detroit.
