Yep, next we'll have a Republican member of the House claiming that he only brought the pig to the party but he had no idea that folks we're going to do what they did when the pig arrived. Then we'll have a Republican declaring that he had no intentions of going to the party but the pig asked him for a ride and he was just trying to help out a friend. He didn't know things would turn out so badly and the investigators should talk to whoever sent the pig an invitation to the party. 

Things will really get lively when they speak to the guy who explains that he was only out on the road because he had heard that a pig was stranded and needed a ride and he thought the pig might be a friend of his so he went to help. Although he saw the pig in the car of someone who he knew was going to the party he has no idea how the pig actually got to the party.
